World of Music has been offering music lessons to Harker Heights, Killeen, Ft. Hood , Copperas Cove and Belton since 2003.
World of Music began as a group piano class studio. After a few years we decided to switch from group classes and started offering guitar, violin, viola, cello, voice and drum lessons as well. We believe that private lessons are more effective than gruop classes because the teacher can customize lesson based on the pace set by the student. We utilize a number of different methods in our lessons to give more flexibility in lesson planning to meet the needs of each individual students.
We believe in the importance of performing as this helps the student learn to love their instrument. Performance opportunities give our students something to work towards and teaches them how to set and accomplish specific goals. Recitals are an inspiration for students as they are able to see other perform and be exposed to new and different types of music.
We want our students to learn how to play their instruments well, but our main goal at World of Music is to instill in every student a love and understanding for music that will stay with them for a lifetime.
